Meadow View is in Wyke Regis, between Weymouth and Portland. It's a 1930s semi-detached house we've done up recently. It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You've got a decent sized garden, partly decked and partly lawn. It backs directly onto a big playing field with a kids' bike track and a play park, which is very handy if you're bringing children.
The stairs are a standard sort, no major issues. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Wi-Fi is included. You can bring one dog.
For the beach, you've got a few choices about a fifteen minute walk away. Castle Cove and Sandsfoot are sandy and face into Portland Harbour, so the water's usually calm. For a proper walk, you can get onto the South West Coast Path about twenty minutes west, which leads you along Chesil Beach towards Portland.
Weymouth town centre is a short drive. It's got the big sandy beach, the harbour, and the Sea Life Centre. The sailing for the 2012 Olympics was at Portland Harbour, and the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is about five minutes away by car if that's your thing.
Dorchester is about a twenty minute drive for a bigger town. For a day out, the Jurassic Coast is right on your doorstep. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are within half an hour.
There's a local pub within walking distance, and a golf course nearby. You can park on the drive.
