It's 5 Park Mews, an apartment in Weymouth town centre. First floor, in a quiet little mews. There's one main bedroom with a double bed, and then the sofa in the living area pulls out into another double if you need it, so it sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating. All clean and straightforward.
You get a private balcony, which is nice. You go up some external steps to get to it. It looks out over the mews itself, so it's sheltered. Good spot for a coffee in the morning.
The place is really well located. You can walk to almost everything. The main beach, Weymouth Bay, is about a five minute walk. The shops and pubs are on your doorstep. There's a good selection.
The kitchen's fine. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a big TV and the wifi works.
If you're into walking, the Rodwell Trail starts practically at the door. It's an easy path along the old railway line towards Portland. Cycling too. The Olympic cycle route is right there. For a proper swim or a paddle, the sea's right there. You see people windsurfing and kitesurfing in the bay.
If you want to go further out, you're about twenty-five minutes from Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Dorchester is fifteen minutes inland. There's a lot within a half hour drive. The Jurassic Coast sites are all along there. The National Trust looks after a lot of it.
It's an apartment so it's all on one floor once you're up the steps. No garden, just the balcony. Pets aren't allowed, I'm afraid. It's good for a couple or a small family who want to be right in the middle of things without a car.
