Old Milking Parlour

Old Milking Parlour is in Osmington, Dorset. It's a converted agricultural building on a farm, so the walls are thick and it feels solid. It's got a rating of 4 Stars.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, so that's fine for them.

The location is good. It's a quiet, rural spot but you can walk to the village pub, which does food. The coast is about a mile and a half away. Ringstead Bay is a shingle beach, good for swimming. Weymouth is a ten minute drive if you want a proper sandy beach and a promenade.

For walks, you're right by the South West Coast Path. The Osmington White Horse is on the hill above the village. Dorchester is about fifteen minutes by car. There's a lot of history there, like the Maiden Castle hillfort.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. Parking is on site.

If you're planning days out, the National Trust for Dorset site has good information.
