Painters Cottage is in Old Orchard, just outside Sutton Poyntz village. It's about a ten minute drive from Weymouth.
It's a stone cottage, fairly new inside. Sleeps four. Two good sized bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One's upstairs, one's on the ground floor. There's a small private patio out the back with a table and chairs. It's south facing, so you get the sun most of the day.
It's got a five star rating, so everything works and it's well looked after. You'll find a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car right outside.
The village pub, The Springhead, is about a two-minute walk. They do food. From the cottage you can walk straight up onto the hills behind for views over to the coast. Overcombe Beach is walkable in about twenty minutes.
Weymouth is close by for shops, cafes, and the beach. Dorchester is about fifteen minutes drive. For a day out, the Bovington Tank Museum is popular, or you can go to Monkey World. Both are under half an hour away.
The whole Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep for walking. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a short drive east. For general planning, the National Trust Dorset site is useful.
No pets.
