Little Gem
Little Gem is a ground floor flat in Weymouth town centre. It's in a quiet little mews, so it's peaceful but you're right in the middle of everything. The beach is a five minute walk.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's modern and well kept. Everything is on one level. The front door is wheelchair friendly and there are no steps inside.
Inside, it's all open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining area, all together. It's got clean, modern furniture. Outside, there's a small patio with a table and chairs.
You get a permit for parking on the street around the mews. If you can't find a space, there's a proper car park about 50 yards away.
You can walk to everything. Shops, pubs, restaurants, the harbour, they're all on your doorstep. The beach is Weymouth Bay. It's good for swimming, and popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
The Rodwell Trail starts very close by. It's a flat path along the old railway line, good for a gentle walk or a bike ride. The wider cycle paths around here are very good if you're into that.
If you want to explore, Portland is about 20 minutes by car. The castle is there. For a longer walk, the South West Coast Path is accessible from several points. National Trust places like Hardy's Cottage are within a 30 minute drive.
For facilities, it's got WiFi, a satellite TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets, sorry.
