Magnolia
This is Magnolia. It's in Coldharbour, just outside Weymouth. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one floor. That's good if you don't fancy stairs. It's detached and you've got your own garden, which is enclosed. There's parking right there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. You can bring one dog. All the bedding and towels are included.
You're up on the edge of the downs here. The view from the garden looks out towards Hardy's Monument. It's quiet, but you're only a couple of miles from Chesil Beach and the coast. The Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep for walking.
Weymouth's about ten minutes in the car. They've got a big sandy beach there. All the usual seaside things: shops, fish and chips, the Sea Life Centre. The local pub is about a mile away.
If you want to explore, you can get to a lot within half an hour. Portland for the sailing and windsports. Up to Dorchester. The National Trust has a lot of spots along the coast like Lulworth Cove. Corfe Castle is about 25 minutes drive. Monkey World and the Tank Museum are in that direction too.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, wifi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We've got a cot if you need it. There's a barbecue outside for when the weather's good.
