The Pod
The Pod is in Weymouth. It's a three-bedroom house, sleeps six. You get two bathrooms, which is handy with a few people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern, comfortable, and clean.
The main thing is the location. You're right on the edge of the RSPB Lodmoor nature reserve. You can walk through it and be on the beach in about 15 minutes. The garden backs onto open fields, so it feels quite private. There's a path good for dog walking.
At the end of the garden is the Pod itself, which is a separate little enclosed seating area with a view. You can sit there and look over the reserve towards the sea. It's a bit different.
Inside, it's straightforward. The living room and kitchen are modern and have what you need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking for one car.
You can take one dog. The garden is enclosed.
Weymouth town centre is a short drive or a decent walk. All the usual seaside things are there: the beach, shops, places to eat. If you like water sports, it's all on your doorstep.
For days out, you're in a good spot. The Jurassic Coast is right there. Portland is close. Dorchester is about 15 minutes inland. The National Trust has several properties and walks within a 30 minute drive.
