Nothe View
Nothe View is a townhouse in Weymouth. It's on that new Admirals Quarter development, right next to Nothe Gardens. The house is tall, spread over three floors, so there are a lot of stairs.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's modern, well equipped, and feels quite spacious. A couple of the rooms have a glimpse of the sea and the gardens.
Outside is a decked courtyard with some furniture. The whole development has landscaped gardens which are quite peaceful. It has an electric car charger that runs partly on the solar panels.
You're really close to Nothe Gardens. It's good for a walk or just sitting on the grass looking out over the water. The nearest bit of beach is Newton's Cove, which is shingle, about two minutes walk. For the main sandy beach, you walk into town. It takes about ten minutes, or you can get the little rowing boat ferry across the harbour, which kids tend to like.
It's set up for families. There are stairgates top and bottom, a cot, highchair, kids' plates and cups, and a box of toys and beach stuff. All the bedrooms can fit a travel cot.
For days out, Weymouth is central for the coast. You can get to Lulworth Cove or Durdle Door in about half an hour. Dorchester is about twenty minutes inland. If you want a big historic estate, Kingston Lacy is just under half an hour away. The Jurassic Coast site has good information for planning walks.
