Nothe View
Nothe View is a townhouse in Weymouth. It's modern, built as part of the Admirals Quarter development. It's on three floors so there are a fair few stairs.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. The finish is good, no fussy antiques. You can see the sea a bit from some of the upstairs windows.
Outside is a courtyard garden with a deck and some furniture. The whole development has landscaped gardens which are quiet. It has an electric vehicle charger that uses solar when it can.
It's very close to Nothe Gardens. That's a big, green space on the coast, good for a walk. The nearest bit of beach is Newton's Cove, about two minutes walk. It's shingle. The main Weymouth beach is sand, and that's about a ten minute walk through town. You can get a rowing boat ferry across the harbour too, which is quicker.
The place is set up for families. There are stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs, a cot, a highchair, changing mats. There's also children's crockery, toys, books, and some stuff for the beach. All the bedrooms will fit a travel cot.
In terms of facilities, there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. No pets.
Brewers Quay is nearby, which has shops and a museum. For wider planning, the Dorset Council countryside sites page is useful for walks. The National Trust for Dorset has plenty of places within half an hour, like Hardy's Cottage or the Kingston Lacy estate.
