Admirals Rest
Admirals Rest is an apartment in Weymouth. It's about a ten minute walk from the harbour and the main beach. It's set back from the road, so it's quieter than some of the places right on the front.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is open plan, which makes it feel bigger, and it's all on one level. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right outside.
It's a modern place. Bright. Everything works as it should. There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The beach is the main thing here. Weymouth beach is sandy and the water is shallow, so it's good for kids. It's about half a mile away. The harbour is closer, maybe five minutes. You've got all the usual seafront things there: pubs, fish and chips, amusements.
If you want to get out, you can drive west to West Bay in about half an hour. Go east and you're at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door in roughly the same time. Both are worth seeing.
There's a local pub a short walk away. For planning days out, the official Weymouth beach information is useful, and the National Trust for Dorset has details on the coastal sites.
