Mallams
Mallams is in Fortuneswell on Portland. It's an end-of-terrace cottage. You get a parking space out front, which is handy because parking can be tight round here.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The house is on three floors, so there are quite a few stairs. The top bedroom is a decent size.
You're up on the hill, so you get good views from the front windows. There's a small sitting-out area at the back. The shop and a couple of pubs are a few minutes' walk away.
Portland Bill is about ten minutes by car. You can walk there along the coast path if you're keen. The lighthouse is there and it's a good spot. The sailing academy is down at Osprey Quay if you're into that.
Weymouth is over the causeway, maybe a fifteen minute drive. It's got the big sandy beach and the usual seaside stuff. For a different beach, try Lulworth Cove. It's about half an hour's drive.
