Resting on the edge of the pretty rural village of Shiptonthorpe in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this cosy studio apartment is dog friendly, well presented and is ideal for a couple looking to explore the Yorkshire Wolds. Peppermint is one of four properties which formed a well respected bed and breakfast. Take the stairs to the first floor and enter straight into the main living area. The kitchen sits along the rear wall and there’s plenty of cupboard space to store you holiday essentials and a worktop area to prepare a delicious picnic to enjoy whilst out exploring. A dining table for two sits to one side. The twin beds lie under one of the Velux windows and provide a great view of the night sky; great for star gazing! The comfortable sofa is ideally place to snuggle up on during the evening to catch up with you favourite soap. A shower room completes the accommodation. Peppermint enjoys a shared mature garden with pretty cottage borders, lawn and seating area, the perfect place for an enjoying an early morning coffee whilst listening to the dawn chorus or for dining out during the warmer months.
Peppermint is short drive from the market town of Pocklington, the perfect choice for sampling pubs and restaurants with fine food options using local produce. The popular Minster town of Beverley is just 10 minutes away where you will find a unique shopping experience as well as a racecourse and the famous Westwood where you can enjoy a game of golf or a relaxing walk.
Further afield is the thriving city of York which offers an abundance of tourist attractions, including the Jorvik Viking Centre, a fully reconstructed Viking village and a museum. Whilst visiting Peppermint take a day to explore the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, venture over to the coast and take in the spectacular birdlife at RSPB Bempton Cliffs or visiting the vibrant coastal towns of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby. Peppermint can be booked together with Thyme Cottage, Coriander and Lavender to accommodate up to guests.
