Nautilus Cottage

Nautilus Cottage is on the harbourside in Cellardyke, which is right next to Anstruther in Fife. It's a terraced fisherman's cottage. The view from the front is straight out over the harbour. You can see the Firth of Forth and out to the Isle of May.

It sleeps seven people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated, so it's in good order. There's a woodburning stove for the colder evenings.

You're right on the Fife Coastal Path. The harbour has a small bit of sand. There's a pub about 100 yards away, and a restaurant even closer. A local shop is a few minutes' walk. Anstruther itself is a short walk along the coast. It's a proper working harbour with shops, cafes, and the famous fish and chip shop. The Scottish Fisheries Museum is there too.

You can get boat trips from Anstruther harbour out to the Isle of May. It's a bird reserve, good for puffins and seals.

St Andrews is about nine miles away. That's where the Old Course is. There are other golf courses nearby at Anstruther, Crail, and Kingsbarns. The cottage has built-in stands for your golf bags.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. No pets, sorry.
