The Marches
The Marches is in Anstruther, right at the east end of Fife. It's a detached house, so you're not sharing any walls. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog, but we don't take pets. Sorry about that.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One's an ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's bigger inside than it looks from the front. The stairs are normal.
You're about five minutes' walk from the harbour. The local shop, a couple of pubs, and the chip shop are all about 500 yards away. The Anstruther Fish Bar is famous. There's a kids' play park just up the road.
There are good beaches here. For boat trips to see the puffins on the Isle of May, you book at the harbour. The Fife Coastal Path runs right past the town if you want a walk.
St Andrews is about nine miles away. That's for the golf, or the university, or just a look around. There's also a 9-hole links course here in Anstruther, half a mile from the house.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
