The Marches

The Marches is in Anstruther. It's a detached house, so no shared walls. You're about a five minute walk from the harbour.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The 4 Star rating means it's comfortable and well equipped. It's bigger inside than it looks from the street.

You've got a fully enclosed garden out the back with a patio and space for a barbecue. Parking is on the driveway.

The facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.

Everything in the village is close. Shops, pubs, and the famous chip shop are about 500 yards away. There's a kids' playpark even closer. The local golf course is a nine-hole links, half a mile up the road.

Anstruther is a proper coastal town. The harbour is busy. You can get boat trips out to the Isle of May to see the puffins. The beaches here are good, sandy ones.

St Andrews is nine miles north. That's where the big golf courses and the university are. The Visit Scotland page for St Andrews has all the details.

For walking, the Fife Coastal Path runs right through. You can walk along the coast for miles.

No pets, I'm afraid.
