Island View is a detached house in Crail. It's in a conservation area so the village looks just right. You can see the Firth of Forth from the front windows and open fields from the back.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The house is all on one level, which makes it easier for some people to get around. There's parking right outside.
Crail itself is nice. The harbour is the sort you see on postcards. There's a good sandy beach about five minutes' walk away. The village has a few shops, cafes and galleries. There's a pub and a restaurant a few hundred yards from the house.
You can get boat trips from nearby Anstruther out to the Isle of May to see the seabirds and seals. The Fife Coastal Path runs right past, so you can walk to other villages if you want. For golf, there are two courses in Crail itself, including the old one at Balcomie. St Andrews is about a fifteen minute drive along the coast.
Inside, it has the things you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. The garden is enclosed. There's a cot and highchair if you're bringing a baby.
