The Sailmakers Loft is a first-floor flat in Anstruther. It's for two people, just the one bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living space is open plan. You get a sea view from the main room. The bathroom is en suite, with a shower. Everything you'd expect is there: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
Location wise, it's very straightforward. The front door is on a little street. The shop is about ten yards away. The nearest pub is five yards. The beach is just down the hill, maybe twenty yards.
Anstruther itself is a proper fishing village. The harbour still works. There are cobbled streets and little lanes. You've got the Fife Coastal Path running right through it. For food, you're spoiled. There's a famous fish and chip shop, but also nicer restaurants if you fancy that.
If you want a trip out, you can get a boat from the harbour to the Isle of May to see the puffins and seals. St Andrews is about a twenty minute drive up the coast. Edinburgh is under an hour and a half by car, depending on the traffic.
A couple of things to mention plainly. It's a duplex, so there's an internal staircase. It's not steep, but it is there. And being right in the village, you will hear ordinary street noises sometimes.
