The Sailmakers Loft
The Sailmakers Loft is a first floor apartment in Anstruther. It's in the middle of the old town, above the street. You get nice views out over the water.
It's for two people. One bedroom with the bathroom off it. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. The stairs up to it are the original ones, so they're a bit tight and turn a corner.
You're right in the thick of it here. The front door is literally a few steps from a pub and a chippy. The world famous Anstruther Fish Bar is about a minute's walk. The shop is just across the road. For the beach, you turn left and you're there in a couple of minutes.
The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village. You can walk it east or west. To the west, you can walk to Pittenweem or on to St Monans, which has a windmill right on the shore. To the east, it goes towards Crail.
St Andrews is about a 20 minute drive. Good for the Old Course, the university, and the bigger shops. For a boat trip, you can go from the harbour out to the Isle of May to see the puffins and seals.
Facilities wise: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. The shower is in the en suite. No pets, sorry.
