Fisher Gallery is in Pittenweem, right on the High Street. It's a mid-terrace house from the 1700s. It used to be an artist's gallery for about twenty years. You can see the old wooden beams.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double and one with a king-size that can be split into two singles if you need it. There's a bathroom with a bath and a shower attachment on that floor. Then there's another staircase up to a separate shower room on the top floor.
The stairs inside are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but you have to watch your head a bit. There's also a step up from the sunroom into the kitchen. Just something to be aware of.
Out the back there's a small, enclosed courtyard. It's private and gets the sun in the evening. Good for sitting out.
You're right in the middle of the village. There's a good bakery just down the street, a grocer, a couple of pubs that do food, and some cafes. The harbour's a two-minute walk. It's a working fishing harbour, so there are usually boats coming and going.
The Fife Coastal Path goes right through. You can walk to Anstruther one way or St Monans the other along the coast. St Andrews is about a fifteen-minute drive. Edinburgh and Dundee are roughly an hour, depending on traffic.
Facilities: there's wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-street parking, which is usually fine to find nearby. No pets, sorry.
