Pee Wee Cottage
Pee Wee Cottage is in Cellardyke, Anstruther. It's a detached cottage right on the shore. The beach is about thirty feet from the front door. You look straight out over the Firth of Forth.
It's a Five Star, which means it is kept to a very high standard. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Upstairs is the living room with a sofa and chairs, and doors to a small covered balcony. You can sit out there and watch the sea. We've seen dolphins go past from there, and once a minke whale, but that's pretty rare.
The kitchen has what you'd need, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car directly outside.
The cottage is accessible. There's a ramp to the front door and everything is on one level, except for the stairs up to the living room. We allow up to two dogs.
Anstruther itself is a five-minute walk along the harbour. The famous fish and chip shop is there, along with other places to eat. The Isle of May boat trips leave from the harbour in the summer, for the puffins and seals.
The Fife Coastal Path goes right past the cottage. You can walk to Crail one way or St Monans the other. For golf, St Andrews is about a fifteen-minute drive. The local nine-hole course is just along the coast.
