Beech Walk is my place in Crail. It's a detached house on a quiet lane. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and everything works.
The village centre is a few minutes' walk away. There's a small shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and some cafes. The harbour and the beach are about a five-minute walk. It's a nice pebbly beach.
The house has a conservatory and a living room. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the drive.
For walking, the Fife Coastal Path goes right through the village. You can walk to other little fishing villages along the coast. If you're into golf, Crail has two courses. St Andrews is about nine miles away. You can visit the town and the Old Course even if you're not playing.
