Crail House
Crail House is in Crail. It's a three bedroom house that sleeps eight. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The layout is a bit unusual. You go in on the first floor, into the main living area. That’s where you get the view. It looks out over the village roofs to the sea. It’s a good view. There's a double bedroom on that floor too, also with a sea view, and it has its own bathroom.
Downstairs on the ground floor are the other two bedrooms. One is a double. The other is set up as two twins, and from that room you can go through to a small bunk room. That makes it three bedrooms in total, but with the bunks it can sleep eight. There's a family bathroom down there as well.
Outside, there's a lawned garden and a balcony off the first floor living room. You can sit out there.
The village is a proper old fishing place. The harbour and the beach are a few minutes’ walk away. In summer they sometimes cook crabs and lobsters right by the harbour. There are a couple of shops, a few places to eat, and a pub about three hundred yards from the house.
If you like walking, the Fife Coastal Path goes right through the village. You can walk along the coast either way. St Andrews is about a twenty minute drive along that coast. It's got the university, the ruins, shops, and all the golf. There are plenty of other golf courses around here too, including two at Crail itself.
A little closer, about three miles away, are Cambo Gardens. They're nice for a wander, they have a cafe, and they're famous for snowdrops in spring.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, WiFi, parking, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
