Number Fifty Six is in St Monans, on the Fife coast. It's a semi-detached house on a normal residential street. It's quiet.
It's a modernised holiday home, sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, two can be king-size or twins. One bathroom with a shower. The stairs are standard stairs.
The living room and kitchen are open plan. Doors lead out to a conservatory, which looks onto the garden. The garden is enclosed and has a summer house. From the back of the garden, there's a gate straight out onto a path that leads down to the harbour. The path goes on a slight slope.
St Monans harbour is a few minutes' walk away. It's a small fishing village, one of the ones along the coast. The Fife Coastal Path runs right past it, so you can walk from the doorstep. Pittenweem, the next village along with its art festival, is about a twenty-minute walk west. To the east, you've got the ruins of Newark Castle.
St Andrews is about a twenty-minute drive north. Golf, the university, shops. All the other East Neuk villages like Anstruther and Crail are within a fifteen or twenty minute drive.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on the driveway. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
