Denburn Cottage
Denburn Cottage is in Colinsburgh, which is a village in Fife. It's a semi-detached cottage right on the main street. It sleeps six, but two of those are on a sofa bed in the living room. Proper beds are upstairs: one twin room and one kingsize.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The kitchen is modern and you can fit six around the table. The back garden is enclosed. It's a quiet spot, considering it's on the road.
There's one bathroom, downstairs. It has a walk-in shower. They leave some nice-smelling shower gel and things, and there are bathrobes.
The village has a shop and a petrol station at the end of the road. The pub is about a ten minute walk.
You're very close to the coast here. Elie beach is about ten minutes in the car. For a day out, Anstruther is twelve minutes away. That's a proper fishing village with the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
Golf is a big thing. Dumbarnie Links is three minutes away by car. St Andrews is about half an hour's drive.
For walks, you're on the Fife Coastal Path. If you don't mind driving a bit, you can get to Falkland Palace, or places like the Scottish Deer Centre, within 30 minutes. Edinburgh is about an hour and a quarter.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. Towels and bedding are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but there's a step up into the living area and the bedrooms are upstairs.
