Bruar Lodge is near Radernie, just outside St Andrews. It's a detached lodge in a small resort, set in about a hundred acres of land. It's quiet out here, just fields and woods.
It sleeps up to six but it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything is modern and in good order. The doorways are wide and there are no steps at the entrance, so it's suitable for wheelchair access.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining, and living area all in one room. It's got all the stuff you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
The resort itself has a kids' play area and a small gym. You can park right outside.
St Andrews is about a five minute drive east. That's where you'll find the shops, restaurants, and the big beach. The coastal path runs right past it. If you're here for the golf, you know the deal. The Old Course is there.
Within half an hour you can get to some other places. The Scottish Deer Centre is towards Cupar. Falkland village has its palace. The coast road north takes you through a string of little fishing villages like Crail and Anstruther.
