Aultnagar Upper Largo

Alright, so Aultnagar is in Upper Largo, right in the East Neuk of Fife. It's a two bedroom cottage, sleeps four. We've just had it done up, so it's all fresh and clean. It’s got a 4 Star rating.

You get a private garden at the back, fully enclosed so it’s safe for dogs. We allow two dogs, no extra charge. The garden looks out towards Largo Law, the big hill. The path to walk up it starts practically from the front door. It's a steep climb but the view from the top is something else, you can see right over the Forth.

Inside, it’s got what you'd need. Wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. One bathroom with a shower. Parking for one car on the drive.

The village is quiet. There’s a restaurant about a five minute walk away. The beach at Lower Largo is about a twenty minute walk down the footpaths. That’s where Alexander Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe, was from. From there you can pick up the Fife Coastal Path.

St Andrews is about a twenty minute drive. Golf, the university, the town. If you head inland, Falkland Palace is worth a visit, it’s about half an hour. The Secret Bunker, which is exactly what it sounds like, is also nearby.
