Kirkview Cottage

Kirkview Cottage is on a quiet lane in Upper Largo. It's a semi-detached stone cottage, sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well equipped. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so they turn a bit at the top.

There's a pub with a restaurant about 200 yards away. The shop is in Lower Largo, about two miles. The beach there is sandy and less than a mile to walk. It's the village where Alexander Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe, was from. There's a statue of him.

The Fife Coastal Path is right on the doorstep. You can walk a section and get the coastal bus back. The bus stop is close to the cottage.

Anstruther is a 15 minute drive along the coast. Good fish and chips. They run boat trips from there out to the Isle of May to see puffins and seals, between April and September.

For golf, you're spoiled. Lundin Links course is very close and St Andrews is about half an hour's drive.

Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a BBQ. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to two well-behaved dogs.
