Bramble Cottage is in Leven, right in the middle of the town. It's semi-detached and I live next door. It's a single-storey place, which is handy, and it was the old shop and post office for the area, built in 1900. We've done it up so it's fresh and comfortable for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Everything's on one level so there are no stairs to worry about. There's a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. You can bring one dog.
If you want, you can arrange to have a bottle of whisky or some basic groceries waiting for you when you arrive. Just ask and I'll sort it, you just pay for what's supplied.
You're really close to everything. The beach is about a five minute walk. It's a long sandy beach and you can see right across the Firth of Forth. The promenade has the usual seafront things: a putting green, crazy golf, play areas. There's a leisure pool too. The local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within a few minutes' walk. The bus stop for St Andrews is just across the road.
For walking, the Fife Coastal Path goes right through the town. It's a great way to see the coast. There are also woodland walks at Letham Glen and Silverburn Park nearby.
If you golf, there are three courses within walking distance, including Leven Links. St Andrews is about ten miles away, so it's easy to get to for a day out. The town itself has good shops and places to eat, and the cathedral is worth a visit. Dundee is about 22 miles away and Edinburgh is about 36 miles if you want to go further.
