Roseville Annex Star

This is the Roseville Annex in Star, Fife. It's an annex attached to our house, but it's got its own front door so it's private. You can park right on the drive.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's modern and comfortable. We had it refurbished not long ago. Everything's on one level and the entrance is step-free, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues.

Inside, it's an open plan kitchen and living space. There's a table for eating. It's a bright space. The bedroom is a good size with a double bed.

Star is a quiet village. You'll need a car. Markinch is about a six minute drive and has a couple of pubs and shops. Glenrothes is ten minutes away and has bigger supermarkets. Both have train stations if you want to get the train into Edinburgh. That takes about an hour.

Falkland is a 20 minute drive west. It's a pretty historic village with a palace and good walking in the estate hills behind it.

The Fife coast is about 15 minutes east. You can drive along it, through the fishing villages like Crail and Anstruther, all the way up to St Andrews. There are plenty of golf courses if that's your thing.

For facilities, it has a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. No pets, I'm afraid.
