Roseville Annex
Roseville Annex is in Star, which is a village in Fife. It's an annex attached to the main house, but it's got its own door and you park on the drive next to it.
It's all on one level and sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It got a 4 Star rating after we refurbished it in 2022, so it's modern inside. The kitchen is open to the living area with a table and chairs.
Being all on one level means you can get a wheelchair in through the front door. The shower room is spacious.
Star is quiet. For a pub or a shop you need to drive to Markinch, which is about six minutes away. Glenrothes is under ten minutes if you need a bigger supermarket.
You can get a train from Markinch or Glenrothes into Edinburgh. That takes about an hour. It's a good way to see the city without driving.
Falkland is a nice trip west. It's an old village with a palace and estate. The National Trust for Scotland looks after the palace.
The Fife coast is about fifteen minutes east. You can drive along it through the fishing villages like Anstruther and Crail, all the way up to St Andrews. There are a lot of golf courses that way if that's your thing.
It has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
