Hollybank
Hollybank is in Ladybank, Fife. It's a ground-floor cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get your own little patio garden at the front, which you go through to get in. There's a sunroom first, then a large living room that leads to the kitchen. The kitchen is a galley style but it has everything you need. The bedroom is a good size and has an en-suite. There's also a separate WC.
Out the back, there's a door to a communal path that takes you to your own private garden area. It's separate from the cottage but it's yours to use.
The village is quiet. You can walk to the local pub, a cafe, and some shops. Ladybank has a golf club, an 18-hole championship course. The railway station is here too, and it's meant to be the oldest unaltered one in Scotland. Trains go to Edinburgh and Dundee.
Cupar is about a five minute drive away for bigger shops. St Andrews is about twenty minutes by car. Edinburgh is under an hour on the train from Ladybank station.
The coast is close, maybe twenty minutes. There are all those little East Neuk fishing villages like Anstruther and Crail. For walking, you're right next to the countryside here. Lomond Hills Regional Park is about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, wifi, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
