Southview Cottage

Southview Cottage is on our working farm just outside Cupar. It's detached, so it's just you and the fields. The views are really good. You can see for miles.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. They're all a decent size. There's one bathroom, with a bath and a separate shower cubicle. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's been recently done up, so it's fresh and clean.

You come in through a sun room, which is nice when it's sunny. The main room has a wood burner. There's a fire guard for it. The kitchen is a proper farm kitchen at the other end of the house, with a table for meals.

It's a working farm, so there are cows and sheep in the fields. You'll see and hear tractors. Children need to be supervised outside at all times. You can bring one dog, but it must be on a lead whenever it's outside because of the livestock.

In terms of things here, the garden is enclosed. There's parking right outside. It has WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

Cupar is about five minutes away by car. It's a handy town for shops. St Andrews is about a 15 minute drive. That's where the famous golf is, but also the university and the beach. The Hill of Tarvit estate is very close for a walk. The Scottish Deer Centre is nearby if you have kids. The East Neuk fishing villages, like Pittenweem and Anstruther, are within half an hour. You can drive to Dundee in about 25 minutes.
