Southview Cottage
Southview Cottage is a detached cottage on a working farm just outside Cupar. It's our farm, so you'll see the livestock and tractors going about. The view from the front is over the fields. It's quiet, apart from the farm noise.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is new and has a bath and a separate shower. The stairs are normal.
There's a wood burner in the lounge. We supply a fire guard. The kitchen is at the back. Through the front door there's a sun room. The garden is enclosed.
It's a four-star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. We include all the bedding, towels, and electricity. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, and highchair. Parking is right outside.
You can bring one dog. It must be kept on a lead at all times outside because of the livestock. Children need to be supervised for the same reason. There's a play area for them.
Cupar is about a five minute drive. It's a proper market town with shops and places to eat.
St Andrews is about fifteen minutes away. That's where the golf and the university are. The coast along here, the East Neuk, has fishing villages like Pittenweem and Anstruther. You can drive to them in under half an hour.
For local walks and history, Hill of Tarvit is close by. The Scottish Deer Centre is nearby too if that's of interest.
