Well Cottage
Well Cottage is in the middle of Ceres village. It's a terraced cottage, part of a row with a red tile roof. It's from the 1780s, built for weavers originally. It's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. One bedroom upstairs, and a bathroom on the ground floor. The stairs are fairly steep, which is normal for a cottage this age. It's enclosed so you can bring up to two dogs. There's a garden out the back.
The village green and the Fife Folk Museum are right across the road. There's a pub and a hotel that do food, a couple of tea rooms, a shop, and a butchers. The Wemyss Ware pottery is here too if you like that sort of thing. The Highland Games are held here at the end of June, they're supposed to be the oldest.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door. There's storage for bikes.
St Andrews is about seven miles away. The East Neuk fishing villages like Crail and Anstruther are maybe a twenty minute drive. Sandy beaches there too. Golf courses are everywhere around here if that's your thing.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove in the living room. It's got a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charging point.
