Mill Pond View

Mill Pond View is in Ceres, a little village in Fife. The cottage is part of a converted mill building. You look out over the mill pond, which is nice.

It's just for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's tidy and comfortable.

For a cottage, the space is good. It's open plan downstairs. That's fine for most people. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite narrow and turn a corner, so watch your head.

There's a small garden area out the back with a table. You can park right outside.

The village itself is very pretty. There's a village green, a couple of tea rooms, a shop, and a good pub. The Fife Highland Games are held here in June, they're the oldest ones going.

If you want to walk, the Fife Pilgrim Way goes nearby. You can pick it up and head towards the coast.

St Andrews is about eight miles away. That's where you'll find the big shops, lots of places to eat, and the university. The Old Course is there, obviously. For other golf, there are plenty of courses around. The Scottish Golf Museum is in St Andrews too.

The East Neuk fishing villages, like Crail and Anstruther, are a short drive. Good for fish and chips and a walk by the harbour.

For a bigger day out, Dundee is about half an hour. Edinburgh or Perth are under an hour's drive.

In the cottage you've got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
