The Outside Room

The Outside Room is near Ladybank in Fife. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. It's an old farm building that's been done up, so you get the stone walls and a wood burner, but it's got things like a dishwasher and WiFi.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

You get to it down a rough farm track. It's opposite our house, but you've got your own space with a private lawn. We've got a small holding with some fields and woods.

Inside, it's all one main room. Kitchen, dining table, and sitting area. The bathroom and bedroom are off that. It gets the sun.

Ladybank is about two miles away. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant there. The train station is handy if you don't want to drive into Edinburgh, Perth, or Dundee. You can be in central Edinburgh in under an hour.

If you like golf, the Ladybank course is walkable. St Andrews is about a twenty-minute drive. There are lots of other courses nearby.

For walks, you can go straight out from the door into the woods. The Lomond Hills are close, and the Fife Coastal Path is about twenty minutes by car. The coast at places like Crail or Anstruther is nice.

Things here: parking, garden furniture, bike storage, TV, towels and bedding are included. We're on a working farm. No pets, sorry.
