Horseshoe Cottage is in Freuchie, a village in Fife at the foot of the Lomond Hills. It's a terraced, stone-built cottage on a quiet lane. It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There's one bathroom with a shower.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's tidy. The stairs are steep and narrow. Just so you know.
You have a small enclosed garden out the back. It gets the sun in the evening. There's a barbecue there if you want to use it. Parking is right outside.
The cottage has wifi, a TV, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
There's a shop and a pub about 500 yards away. The pub does food. From the door you can walk straight out into the lanes and countryside. It's good for cycling too.
Falkland is two miles away. It's an old village with Falkland Palace. You can visit the palace and gardens. It was also used as a location in Outlander. The beach at Leven is about ten miles, and you can pick up the Fife Coastal Path from there.
If you golf, St Andrews is under half an hour's drive. Dundee, with the V&A museum, is also within 30 minutes. Perth is about the same.
