East Lodge
East Lodge is at the east entrance to Falkland Estate. It's a detached place built in the 1800s. It's been done up, but it's kept the old feel.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with beds that can be either a super king or two singles, and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.
The living room has a wood burner and a table. The kitchen is modern and has a breakfast bar. There's a utility room with a washing machine off the boot room. That's handy for wet coats and boots.
Outside is a garden. You can sit out there. You're right on the estate, so you can walk straight out into the grounds. It's a big place. The village of Falkland is a short walk. There are a couple of pubs, shops, and a cafe at the estate stables. The Falkland Palace is there too, if you're into history.
If you're driving, the East Neuk fishing villages are about half an hour away. St Andrews is about 25 minutes. Edinburgh is under an hour if you want a city day. The Lomond Hills are close by for walking.
Facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets.
