Hedderwick House
Hedderwick House is in Pittenweem, on the East Neuk coast. It's a semi-detached cottage. It used to be the village bake house, hence the name. You can see a bit of sea between the rooftops.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated, so it's in good shape inside. It's not especially old-feeling.
The harbour is a few minutes' walk away. There's a fish and chip shop, a few places to eat, and some small shops. The coastal path runs through here, so you can walk along to the other villages. There are some good beaches nearby.
You're right in the middle of the golf area. The famous courses at St Andrews are about a twenty minute drive. There are plenty of other links courses closer than that.
Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all about an hour away by car if you want a day in the city.
At the house, there's an enclosed garden, a woodburning stove, and a dishwasher. There's also a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
