The Willows

This place is called The Willows. It's a one-bedroom place that sleeps two. It's attached to our house, which is Georgian, but the cottage itself is a modern conversion. You get your own front door.

It's a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. Everything works. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The kitchen and living area are all in one room. It has a TV, wi-fi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.

Outside, there's a large garden we share with you. You're welcome to use it. There's also a summerhouse with chairs in it, which is nice if it's a bit breezy. Parking is on the drive.

We allow up to two pets. The garden is enclosed, but it's not totally escape-proof for very small dogs, so you'd need to keep an eye on them.

The property is in Tatworth, just south of Chard. It's a rural spot. There's a shop and a pub about half a mile down the road. The pub does meals.

You're right on the border here, so Somerset, Devon, and Dorset are all easy to get to. The Jurassic Coast is about a 30 minute drive. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are the closest bits. For walking, the Blackdown Hills are in Devon, about 20 minutes away.

If you like historic houses, Montacute House and Barrington Court are both within half an hour. For a day out, you could go to Cheddar Gorge or Glastonbury Tor, they're both roughly 40 minutes by car. There's a local golf course about two miles away.
