This is Brabazon, in Furley, Devon. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on one level which is handy. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which is good if you're two couples or a family.
You get the whole eight acres to yourselves, to be honest. It's land from the old Furley Estate. There's a walled garden with an orangery you can use. There are ponds, fields, and a few benches dotted about. The views from the garden go on for miles.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area all together. There's an electric wood burner for atmosphere. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not palatial. The facilities are what you'd need: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.
You can bring up to two dogs.
Axminster and Chard are about five miles away for shops. The coast at Lyme Regis is about eleven miles. That's on the Jurassic Coast, so good for walking and fossils. For wider planning, the National Trust Devon page is useful.
