The Firs Lodge
The Firs Lodge is in Bishopswood, Somerset. It's a detached lodge on our property. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is open plan: lounge, dining area, kitchen all in one room. French doors open out to a private, enclosed patio. You look out onto our garden and the koi pond.
Everything's on one level. The shower is a walk-in. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there.
You can bring one dog.
There's a pub about a two-minute walk away. They do food. The nearest shop is about four miles away in Wiveliscombe.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby. The Quantock Hills are about a 30-minute drive. Taunton is about 20 minutes by car for bigger shops or the castle museum.
Bath, Glastonbury, and the coast are all within an hour if you want a day out.
