Boxkite
Boxkite is in Furley. It's a one-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Goodmans House, which is an old estate house. Sleeps two.
It's open plan downstairs. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, just so you know. There's a king size bed up there and an ensuite shower room.
You get the private garden to yourselves, with furniture. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
The main thing here is the grounds. You have access to about 8 acres. There are two big ponds, lots of meadows and a walled garden with an orangery you can use. There are benches and gazebos dotted around to sit in. There's also a duck pond area with a fire pit and picnic table.
It's a rural spot. For shops and things, Axminster is about five miles away. The coast at Lyme Regis is about 11 miles, so within half an hour's drive. The Jurassic Coast is good for walking and fossil hunting.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
