Oak Haven
Oak Haven is on Penlan Holiday Park, near Cenarth in Carmarthenshire. It's a detached wooden lodge. The park is wooded and quiet.
The lodge sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxury. Everything you need is there.
It's open plan inside, with doors leading out to a decked terrace. The park has a shared outdoor heated pool open in the summer, and a coffee lounge. There's a kids' playground and a big field.
You're about a mile from Cenarth village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. The village is known for its waterfalls on the River Teifi. If you're there in autumn, you might see salmon jumping. There are nice riverside walks and a coracle museum in the old mill.
Newcastle Emlyn is a few minutes further by car. It's a proper little market town with a supermarket, more shops, and cafes.
You're well placed for the coast. Cardigan Bay is less than ten miles away, with sandy beaches. You can sometimes see dolphins from the shore. Cardigan town is about ten minutes away. It has a castle, restaurants, and shops.
For days out, you've got Pembrokeshire Coast National Park nearby. Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm are within a half hour drive. You can get to St David's in about an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
