Maplewood is one of the apartments in The Victorian Barn estate, near the village of Woolland. It's a two-bedroom place but it says it sleeps six. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sofa all in one space. There's a patio and a bit of garden that's just for you.
The big draw is the stuff on the estate. There's an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and you get your own hot tub. There are three fishing lakes, a games room, and a kids' play area. They've also got an electric vehicle charger.
The stairs are fine, and it's all on the ground floor. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
Location wise, it's quiet. Blandford Forum is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's Georgian, has a market, and all the usual shops.
The Jurassic Coast is the main thing to do, obviously. It's about a 40 minute drive to get to the coast at West Bay or Charmouth. From there, you can go along to Lyme Regis one way or Lulworth Cove the other. Sturminster Newton is closer, about 20 minutes away, and is a good spot for a walk by the river.
