This place is called Lodge. It's in Woolland in Dorset. It's actually part of a bigger site called The Victorian Barn. It's not a standalone cottage, it's one of several holiday lets there.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. The living area is all open plan, kitchen, dining and lounge together.
You've got your own patio and garden area that's enclosed. The main reason to book here is probably for the shared facilities on the estate. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, and private hot tubs you can book. There are a few fishing lakes on site, and a games room.
It's a working farm, so you'll see animals. The location is very quiet, proper countryside. Blandford Forum is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's Georgian, has a market.
For days out, you're about 30 minutes from the northern edge of the Jurassic Coast. Sherborne is a lovely town to visit, about 25 minutes away. Shaftesbury with its famous Gold Hill is about 30 minutes. If you've got kids, the Tank Museum at Bovington is a big draw and is roughly a 30 minute drive.
The facilities list says there's an electric vehicle charger on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a cot if you need one. No pets allowed.
