The Studio
The Studio is in Ibberton, Dorset. It's a detached barn conversion in the grounds of our house, which is the main farmhouse next door. You get it to yourselves.
It sleeps two. One main room upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The stairs are standard, not a spiral or anything.
You come in through the kitchen. The shower room is on that ground floor. Upstairs is all one open space: living area, a kingsize bed at one end, and a big window looking out over the fields. You'll see sheep and horses. There's a wood burner for colder nights.
Outside, there's a private garden with a patio. On site parking for one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. It's open Thursday to Sunday lunch. There are other good pubs a short drive away. The nearest shop is in Hazelbury Bryan, about two miles.
You're right on the edge of the Wessex Ridgeway for walking. The National Trust has several sites nearby, like Kingston Lacy and the Cerne Abbas Giant. Blandford Forum is about 15 minutes by car; they've got a museum, some shops and places to eat.
The coast is about 35 minutes' drive. That gets you to the Jurassic Coast, places like Lulworth Cove. You can be in the New Forest in about 45 minutes.
Facilities: WiFi, Smart TV, wood burner, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The garden has furniture.
