Langston Farm Chalet
This is the Langston Farm Chalet in Okeford Fitzpaine. It's a detached bungalow on our farm. You look out over fields, nothing else. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate loo. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and everything works. The main room is all open plan: kitchen, living area, and a table. There's a wood effect electric stove for heat and a Smart TV. WiFi is included.
Outside is a patio with a table and chairs. It catches the sun in the morning. You can park right next to it.
You can bring one dog. We ask that you keep it on a lead around the farm buildings because of the livestock.
The village shop and a pub are about a ten minute walk. Blandford Forum is ten minutes by car for bigger shops.
If you like walking, you're in the right spot. You can walk straight out onto the bridleways. Hambledon Hill and Bulbarrow Hill are close by for big views. The North Dorset Trailway, which is the old railway line, is good for a flat walk or cycle. It starts in Sturminster Newton.
The Jurassic Coast is about a 40 minute drive. You can get to places like Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door from there. Poole Harbour and the Purbecks are in the same direction, but a bit further.
