Marlott is in East Orchard in Dorset. It's on the ground floor of a bungalow in a small courtyard of similar places, next to where we live.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which is right. It's comfortable but not fancy. It's wheelchair accessible from the parking area right outside.
You can use the private patio garden. It looks out over our land. We've got about eight acres here in the Blackdown Vale. You'll often see deer and buzzards.
We're in a quiet spot. The nearest shop is about three and a half miles away. There's a pub two miles down the road.
Shaftesbury is four miles north. That's where the famous Gold Hill is. Blandford and Salisbury are both within about half an hour's drive if you want historic towns.
For a day out, Longleat is good. It's about a 40 minute drive. The New Forest, with the ponies, is within an hour. The coast at Bournemouth or Weymouth is about 45 minutes.
We allow up to three pets. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and WiFi. Parking is right by the door.
