Tarrant Cottage
Tarrant Cottage is in East Orchard, Dorset. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. The front door opens straight from a shared courtyard.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one wet room bathroom. It's 3 Star rated. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. It's good for less mobile guests or if you just don't fancy stairs. There are grab rails in the wet room.
Outside, there's a private patio area for you. The owners have about eight acres of land you can look at, maybe see some deer or buzzards. It's very quiet.
The local shop is about three and a half miles away. There's a pub two miles away. You'll need a car.
Shaftesbury is four miles north. That's where Gold Hill is, the steep cobbled street from the bread advert. Blandford Forum and Salisbury are both about a half hour drive for a bigger town or a cathedral visit.
If you want a day out, Longleat Safari Park is about 40 minutes drive. The Dorset coast, like Weymouth, is about the same. Bournemouth and Poole are a bit closer, maybe 35 minutes. The New Forest is just over an hour.
Facilities: everything is included, bedding, towels, electricity. There's WiFi, a TV, washing machine, on-site parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's stabling for horses by arrangement.
