Church House Cottage
It's Church House Cottage, in Stour Provost. Detached, so you don't have any neighbours through the walls. It sleeps four, two double bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room downstairs is open plan. Kitchen at one end, living space at the other. There's a wood burner. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and a bit narrow, just so you know.
The big thing is the garden. It's enclosed by a wall and it's a good size. You get a view of the church from it, which is old. St. Michael's, from about 1308.
The local pub is about a twenty-five minute walk across the fields, or a couple of minutes in the car.
Shaftesbury is about five miles away, so you can get up to Gold Hill and the shops. Gillingham is three miles for supermarkets. Stourhead is the major National Trust place nearby. Longleat is about thirty-five minutes by car. The coast at Poole or Bournemouth is under an hour.
It has the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
