The New Inn Barn
The New Inn Barn is in Marnhull. It's a converted barn, next to the main farmhouse. You get your own garden at the back, and there's a bigger shared meadow out the front. The garden is enclosed and has a hot tub.
It sleeps four in two king-size bedrooms. One bedroom has its own shower room, and there's a main bathroom too. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a double bed if you really need it for extra people. It's a 4 Star place, so it's done up nicely. Everything feels new and clean.
The kitchen is good. You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden being enclosed is useful for that.
The local pub is about a mile away in the village. It does food. There's a shop about half a mile away for basics.
For a day out, Longleat is about half an hour's drive. Stourhead is a similar distance and the gardens are very nice. Sherborne is close, maybe 20 minutes, and it's a nice town to walk around with the abbey. The coast, like Weymouth or the Jurassic Coast, is under an hour away.
If you want to stay local, there are plenty of walks from the door. The farmhouse next door can be rented separately, or together with the barn if you're a bigger group.
