This is Rose Cottage. It's a single-storey stable conversion, so everything's on the ground floor. That's handy if you don't fancy stairs. You're in the hamlet of Newton, right on the edge of Sturminster Newton.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The kitchen and living area are open plan.
There's a pub and a restaurant about 200 yards away. The local shop is half a mile.
The cottage is on our land, which is just over an acre of garden and meadow. You look out over the River Stour and Newton Mill. It feels properly rural.
You can bring one pet.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right outside.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Sherborne and Blandford Forum are close by for shopping. Within half an hour you can get to places like Stourhead or Kingston Lacy. The Dorset coast, like Lulworth Cove, is about a 40-minute drive.
