Feltham's Cottage is on our organic farm near Horsington. It's one of two places we rent out, so you might see other guests around. The yard and farm are shared, but you have your own garden and patio. It looks out over the pond.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a toilet and sink, but the shower is downstairs. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a typical cottage stair, so take care.
You're on a working farm. We've got about 22 acres you're welcome to walk around. There are animals you can help feed if you want, and kids like the treehouse and barn. We also have a natural pond for swimming. It's cleaned by plants, not chemicals, and you can use it any time of year.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The kitchen's fine for cooking. We've put in some board games. A lot of the furniture is upcycled. We leave you a welcome hamper with things like local cider, milk, tea and coffee, but what's in it depends on the season.
The farm is off a quiet lane. You'll need a car. For a day out, Bruton is about 15 minutes away. The Hauser & Wirth gallery and restaurant are there. Sherborne with its old abbey is maybe 20 minutes. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour. There's riding nearby at Pevlings.
For facilities: it's got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric car charger. We take up to two dogs. The other property here, The Organic Cabin, can be booked with it if you're a bigger group.
