Little Hewish Barn
Little Hewish Barn is in Milton Abbas. It's an old barn that's been done up. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It has the top rating.
It’s upside down, so the bedrooms are on the ground floor. The main living area is upstairs. It means you get better light and a nice view over the garden from the lounge. The place is done to a high standard.
There’s a log burner upstairs for cooler evenings. The garden is private and it has a patio area and a summer house. We can also put in a wood-fired hot tub if you arrange it with us in advance.
The stairs up to the living area are wooden and quite steep.
The village itself is unusual. It was all built at once so the thatched cottages are in a line, very neat. Every two years they hold a big street fair here. The local pub is a short walk away.
Dorset's Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive. That’s where Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are. You can walk the coast path from there. For a family day out, Monkey World or the Tank Museum at Bovington are also within half an hour.
You can walk straight from the door onto local paths and bridleways. The old Dorset Trailway is nearby for easy cycling.
It has what you'd expect: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. All bedding and towels are included.
